The following is a list of Lewistown bottles and other items that I am seeking for my collection. I will pay a very fair price for any of these items. Any condition will be considered, they do not have to be perfect.
MEDICINE/ DRUGGIST BOTTLES: I am interested in any names, embossing variants or sizes of Lewistown druggist, pharmacy or apothecary bottles that I do not have. Embossed bottles only, please. Also ANY embossed Lewistown medicine dose cups other than E.S. Eby.
SODA BOTTLES: Any of the following:
-Soult & Zerbe, light green, iron pontil, 7". GOT IT, WHAT A BEAUTY IT IS!!
-Lewistown Bottling Works Hutchinson-type variant with round (not oval) slug plate.
-Lewistown Bottling Works bottles in amber (brown) glass.
-Lewistown Bottling Works siphon seltzer bottle. These have black, painted lettering. Some have LEWISTOWN misspelled as LEWISTON.
-C.H. Harshbarger crown top with arched lettering and no slug plate.
-Coca-Cola bottles from Lewistown or Mount Union, PA.1915 and 1923-dated bottles only.
BEER BOTTLES: Any of the following:
-MRS. F. BOSSINGER/ LEWISTOWN/ PA, aqua, standard size and quart.
-Any bottles embossed with LEWISTOWN that have the any of the following names: BOSSINGER, HAEBER, FISHER, or WALTERS.
-JACOB PABST/ PATTERSON/ PA, teal green squat porter, c. 1860s-70s. Patterson was located near Lewistown in Juniata County, and is now known as Mifflin, PA.
MILK BOTTLES: I am now collecting ALL round, embossed Mifflin County milk bottles. Seeking any milk bottle from Lewistown, Burnham, Reedsville, Milroy, Belleville, Allensville, McVeytown, Mattawana or Newton Hamilton. Milk bottles without a town name that I am seeking include the following: Fisher Bro's., Lauver Bros., Meadow Brook Dairy H.C. Stuck, H. Brought Golden Crown Dairy, H.W. Ellinger and J.H. Weiand Dairy. Please contact me about ANY Mifflin County milk bottles.Especially seeking C.J. Shingler and J.W. Kearns Burnham, PA bottles.
STONEWARE: Crocks, bowls, jugs and other stoneware items from Lewistown Pottery, J.H. Dipple, A.M. Dipple or A.G.C. Dipple. I am also interested in early yellowware and other early decorated earthenware items.
ADVERTISING ITEMS: Any trade cards, bill heads, signs, handbills or any other advertising from ANY early Lewistown druggists/pharmacies, soda bottlers, brewers, hotels or potters. Any items from the Glamorgan Iron Works, Lewistown Foundry or Logan Foundry.
OTHER ITEMS: Early Lewistown postcards, photos, letters or 1895 Lewistown Centennial medals.
