The following is a list of Mifflin County dairies that are known to have had round, embossed milk bottles. I have recently started to collect these bottles. Only dairies with bottles confirmed to exist are listed. I know I am missing a few here, but this is most of them. (Listed alphabetically by town and then name.) Neck grip styles are also listed for most bottles.
A few of these bottles are fairly common, but most are at least scarce and some of them are quite rare.
I am seeking any embossed milk bottles and original cardboard milk caps from these dairies that I need for my collection.

Bingman's Little Valley Dairy, R.D. #3 Lewistown, PA. This is an attractive bottle, and you have to love the name! This bottle dates to 1935. Bingman's bottles are very scarce.

Belle Meade Farm Dairy, D.G. Arnold, Reedsville, PA. Another great local milk bottle with a cool name. Belle Meade Farm Dairy later became the Reedsville Sanitary Milk Company, which was also owned by Mr. Arnold. This Belle Meade pint dates to 1933.

Blue Ribbon Dairy, J.H. French, Lewistown, Penna. Another very tough milk from Lewistown. This is a 1936 half pint. The later version of this bottle is embossed J.H. French And Son. All of the Blue Ribbon bottles are very scarce.

Rare pyroglazed version of the D.G. Arnold Belle Meade Farm bottle. These were only made for a short time before the dairy became the Reedsville Sanitary Milk Co. Oddly enough, there are also embossed Sanitary quarts which date several years later than this 1936 pyro Belle Meade.

George P. Oppel, Oppel Home Dairy, R#1 Newton Hamilton, PA. Newton Hamilton is a small town near the Mifflin-Huntingdon county line. These early, embossed Oppel bottles are very attractive, featuring a "squiggly line" neck grip that resembles the decoration on a gingerbread house. One of my favorite Mifflin county milk bottles, and extremely challenging to find. This quart dates to 1937. Now, I need an embossed Oppel pint to go with it!

Fisher Bros. Dairy, Rt. 522, Lewistown. This dairy would later become known as the Glenlew Dairy. The Fisher Brothers moved their operation to Middleburg. While not embossed with a town, these FISHER BRO'S bottles with the four large hobnails on the neck and outlined block lettering are known to be their early Lewistown bottles. This quart dates to 1936.
